HEY ♥ So as most of you know already, I'm Annay, one of your moddydoddies. QNNG yosuke is the FAAAAAAAAAAR more adept one but between the two of us, we'll keep everyting in line. As I Lay Dying is AMAZING. I was absolutely floored from start to finish. If the Sound and the Fury is anywhere near as good then I can definitely put Faulkner on my list of favorite authors. I want to write like him someday :( SOMEDAY.

My opinion on Hemingway is mixed; I haven't read much of him aside from a few short stories, but I kind of liked his writing style--on the other hand, I think the teacher was reading WAY more into it than what was really there. But eh, beauty of literature is we all end up seeing something different.
